Year 2024 will be the year of Dragon, Yang Wood Dragon. Dragon is the 5th animal sign of the 12 Chinese Animals zodiac. Dragon is a symbol of royalty, majestic, powerful, strength and people take it as a symbol powerful mystical animal that only fit for a king.

The actual start date of the Dragon Year is on the day of arrival of the spring. In solar calendar they call it Lap Chun (Cantonese), Li Chun (Mandarin). It start on 4th of Feb 2024. On that day, you can say now this is the year of the Dragon.

For CNY (Chinese New Year), that is following lunar calendar. It falls on 10th of Feb 2024, which is a very good sign that it arrives after Lap Chun compared to last year, the season starts before the lunar new year. It could means that we are going to have a proper start, things going to have a new start and a good start.

5 Yellow, is located at W(West), don't plan to do major renovation or digging in this sector.

3 Killing is coming from S(South), if possible avoid sitting your back to the South this year for the long period of time.

Tai Sui (Grand Duke) is at the SE1(South East) this year, try avoid facing South East direction. Especially if your working desk is facing South East this year, it is not a good direction as you may find many obstacles and challenges all the time. It is to remedy, just use a compass and tilt your working facing position away from SE1 (112.6 – 127.5 degree).

Illness star is at SE(South East) sector. If your bed room is located at this sector, you have to look after your health more closely. If you are not feeling well, please pay a visit to a doctor as soon as possible and if you already not in good health, please avoid this bed room if possible.

Quarrelsome star is at C(Center) sector. Avoid placing things that constantly making noise at this area. If this area is not kept it still and quiet, the household may get into troubles with authority, disharmony among family members.

Wealth star is at N(North) sector. If your house is facing North or your door is at the North sector, this is a good year for you.
